[Today the weather isn't present.

It's not sunny, or dark, the clear skies have cleared up into... nothingness? Probably that's what nothingness looks like. This of course isn't anything to be alarmed about, it just means the Season is over.

If you are awake and out for it, you'll notice a ripple extending out from the Pearl and radiating across every territory, shifting things as it goes. The changes made are thus:

Borja: It wasn't looking bad before now it just looks great, everything is clean as whistle, there are more plants in the planters and they are lush. Every inch of the place is spotless. Also, their laundry is, if not mended, clean, and beds are made. Messy people have been picked up after.

Uruk: Things have stayed about the same, maybe it's a bit cleaner? But the territory just looks good, with everything in good repair.

Ichibei: Things are looking slightly dingier but it's nothing that couldn't be handled with a good scrubbing.

Aristophanes: Ok your territory was always kind of dirty but it's not looking good. Things are starting to smell.

Axum: Ugh wow for real, pick up after yourselves. It looks like someone has been making a mess. A few boats have suck, none of yours luckily, the rusty water is looking darker and dirtier and trash is in it's waves. It smells bad.

Ching Shih: Literally every gross unpleasant smell about living near the ocean is now yours. Just. Rotting fish? Check. Human waste? Double check. Your rocky beaches are littered with broken glass and other trash. Get your act together.

However, it's ENTIRELY POSSIBLE you are too distracted by other ~lessons~ bestowed upon you by the Mother, as each member of a house will find themselves under the influence of one of assigned affects:

Borja: Wow you just. you feel so great?? so good!!! You are aces. you are the best. Does everyone know you're the best? They should probably know since. in fact. you are the best. Also you appear to have some lovely little cardboard crowns.

Uruk: Everyone loses ONE SENSE.

Ichibei: afflicted by myotonia congenita

Aristophanes, Axum, Ching Shih: HAVE YOU BEEN MAIMED YET TODAY? you just. you are starving. to be hurt. who has ever even heard of such a weird hunger? well apparently Mother has.

Yay you all made it to the end of your first season! Good job! Time to ponder on your successes and failings while enduring Mother's judgment of you. (=

((Status effects last EXACTLY UP UNTIL THE POINT WHERE YOU SICK OF PLAYING WITH THEM. Territories condition will not change until the end of the next season, though you can choose to make things better/worse yourself. Those with the hunger for being maimed WILL find that it works the same as their natural hunger (can eat a meal, levels you up).))

Then I shall have to work quicker to secure ourselves the clothing to match.

Aristophanes, hm. We've nothing from our Prophet yet, but she ought to have more to trade with soon.

I'll be quick to gather up the demand for her supply, now that we have a better feel for the other families.

This will be very disappointing if they all somehow managed to do well anyway, but one can only hope their status will reflect that we've the upper hand.
