I won't say no to a change of scenery.

In the morning then. Once we have seen personally to Axum and Ching Shih, I'll be able to take a break and allow for the others to explore the territories more often.

Yes, I have an arrangement to see to and for it, I need to visit Axum.

With a face so unenthused, I nearly fear to ask what manner of arrangement.

Oh, nothing terrible so long as Axum is amicable. I need to trade for their resources, if possible.

If you're injured, I've the means to see to it, you know.

I know, but the supplies are not for myself. Ichibei has an interest in them, and poor relations with Axum to trade for them on their own.

They've been in a scrape already?

It seems so. When I made this arrangement with Ichibei's Prime, he was injured.

Did they confirm that the brawl was with Axum?

Ah- no, I hadn't received such a confirmation.

There's talk of an alliance with Ichibei, and it might serve us ill to jump into a conflict already underway.

See if you can steer the conversation in that direction when you speak with Axum, won't you?

Yes, I will certainly try.

What are your thoughts on them?

None, at the moment. I cannot even recall if I spoke with a member of Axum while they were here.

And Ichibei?

... Their prime does seem to be very intent on having friendly relations. The indulgences, I don't mind, but I rather suspect they hunger for more from us than a simple meal.

Perhaps. I'm uncertain how the rest of Ichibei feels about it though, they rather seem to be going along at their Prime's pace.

It must be said, their resource doesn't offer so very much by way of value.
