Their resource is one we can do without if we need to, and they're a suspicious sort.

I wouldn't rely too much upon any sort of long-term arrangement with them.

I feel just the same. We should stock up on cleaning supplies early and cut them off in the upcoming seasons. They may be the first family to take out, as well. Presumably when we've destroyed them it'll be easy enough to just take what they have at any rate. As we're neighbors, we might even just claim their territory as our own, if they're completely wiped out.

I'm more or less operating under the assumption that we'll be forming an alliance with them, of some kind or another. It seems like we're all moving in that direction, doesn't it?

Vespera says they wish something exclusive.

Well, for starters, they don't intend to cut off trade. Chain expressed explicitly that he would even want us as a middleman for Axum, for obvious reasons. He would prefer something more exclusive as concerns long-term alliances, but I think he'll cave on that as long as we promise him that he's first in line.

There was talk that they'd been in some sort of scrape already. Do we know for certain it was with Axum?

Chain confirmed it, and I don't see why he'd bother to lie. Things are getting heated already, it seems...

Have you fed at all, little brother?
